Wilted Kale Salad with Smokey Cream Dressing
This is very easy Salad to make and packs a punch of flavour.
- 300 gm kale or spinach
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 cup red or orange capsicum
- 30 gm mircogreens (Optional)
- 1/2 cup Wright Sprouts Schmogle or Tamari Sunflower Sprouts
- 1 avocado
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp tamari sauce
Remove stems from the kale or spinach where necessary, wash and chop roughly. Put in a bowl with salt and massage the greens until they wilt and takes on a cooked look and texture.
Add tomatoes, capsicum, sprouted seeds & microgreens & toss by hand to blend through.
In a high speed blender put all the dressing ingredients and blend until creamy, mix through the salad.
Serve with any thing you want, this salad goes with everything. Enjoy.
