Super Broccoli Salad


  • 1/2 head of broccoli
  • 1/2 head of cauliflower
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/2 cup Wright Sprouts Tamari Dried Sunflower Sprouts
  • 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise of your choice
  • Boiling water


Wash and chop the broccoli and cauliflower florets to small bite size pieces, place in a large bowl and pour boiling water over to cover, leave for 30 seconds then drain, and refill with cold water, a allow cold water to continue to run on the vegetables until they cool.

This will give the broccoli a nice bright green colour. When they have completely cooled add the avocado and tamari sunflower sprouts and toss through.

Last add the mayonnaise and gently mix through.

Note: Broccoli is the most nutrient dense vegetable and it is raw in this recipe making all that nutrition available. Sunflower sprouts are also a superfood with good source of omega's and vitamin D plus B vitamins
